Beautiful, bright, airy, three bedroom, three bath, beach bungalow with private saltwater pool, located just steps from the beach. Recently renovated property has three full-sized bedrooms, renovated kitchen, new furnishings and large patio overlooking lush landscaping and pool. Beach Pass included for two chairs and an umbrella, so no need to lug much to the beach. Just show up!
Split bedroom floor plan allows for excellent privacy, and Palm Beach Shores beach access is just 200 yards away.
Notes
There is a max of 6 guests allowed overnight, and a max of 8 guests allowed at any other time.
An additional charge of $25 per extra guest, per night, will apply to any guests exceeding the booked occupancy.
Upon booking, we may require a copy of the lead guest’s drivers license and rental agreement.
The pool is heated to an above-industry standard of 85 degrees. Comfortable, yet refreshing. Please note- during rare cold snaps, the heater may not perfectly maintain temps.
We have a sound monitoring device that measures decibels - it is completely privacy compliant as it does not record conversation or personal information - it will immediately alert us if the occupancy ever exceeds 8 people or the noise level exceeds the appropriate level. Thank you for supporting us in our efforts to be good neighbors in our very family friendly area.
Please note: Boat parking is not available on the property.
NO GLITTER/NO DYE: Glitter is almost impossible to remove and will result in a $1,000 fine to cover excess cleaning. Do not use any temporary or permanent hair dye or other dye products in the rental. Evidence of dye will result in a $500 fine or more if damage occurs to sink, floors, carpets, etc. Primary contact is responsible for all guests along with anyone who enters the home during the stay to abide by these rules.
No Smoking of any Kind: Smoking of any kind will result is a $750 additional cleaning and Ozone fee. This includes, but is not limited to vaping, cigarettes, marijuana, or any other form of smoking.
Florida is subject to hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, water spouts, other high-wind events, and acts of God.
BOOKINGS YET TO BEGIN
They are RARE, but, if, at any time, our property is under a tropical storm/hurricane watch, where the National Weather Service (NWS) published hurricane “incidence cone” remains focused on our geographic region, with projections of a category strength of CAT 1, or more, forty-eight (48) hours prior to your booking, we will attempt to contact you to notify you that we are canceling your booking. We HIGHLY recommend purchasing travel insurance in the event that a weather event happens and your stay cannot start or is interrupted as no refunds will be granted for impending or unfortunate weather.
ACTIVE STAYS
If you are staying with us when a Tropical Storm/Hurricane Watch is announced by the NWS, we will advise you to curtail your stay, and make arrangements to leave the area.
If the storm, in the estimation of the NWS, has the potential to reach a level of Category 1, or greater, in our area, you agree to depart the premises, when requested by our staff, or the authorities.
You are responsible for your own safety, and evacuation/transportation plans, in such a circumstance. We will offer you a pro-rata refund of your stay, for the remaining days in keeping with the Airbnb Extenuating Circumstances Policy.
Weather-related communications outages may impact our ability to contact you. We will make every effort to connect with you, and resolve your reservation situation.
This property is located in a tropical climate zone. It is possible, but not likely, to see snakes, lizards, exotic reptiles, vermin, iguanas, raccoons, ferile cats, alligators, non-native primates, and other wild animals, as well as all kinds of bugs, including, but not limited to, ants, honey bees, palmetto bugs, roaches, etc. on the property.
Per Airbnb’s listing requirements, we are, therefore, required to notify you that we have “dangerous animals” on the property.
All stand-alone, homes, excluding those that are not in a condominium tower, save those in Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, and any part of any nation in the Arctic Circle, are required, by Airbnb, to notify you of the possibility that one might encounter both dangerous, and fear-provoking, non-threatening creatures.
We have pest control services to deal with all of these creatures. If you come across any of them, please contact us via Airbnb’s Direct Message (DM) system, immediately. We will work to take timely action to deal with anything that you may discover, both inside your space, or outside, on our property.
Many of these creatures are free-roaming. We do not have control of anything that occurs on neighboring, city, community, or HOA properties, and cannot be held liable for their maintenance of same.
IMPORTANT FOR PARENTS: The property is not child-proof and is not suited for young children. While we love kids, we have not set up the property to protect them from harm. Parents who bring small children will be required to watch them at all times and assume liability.
Neighbourhood
The property is conveniently situated within a block to the beach or a four-minute walking distance, providing an opportunity for a delightful stroll on the while admiring the stunning blue water and palm trees. The vast beach boasts an abundance of sand, perfect for soaking up the sun's rays, and a park pavilion equipped picnic tables is about an 8 minute walk, making it an excellent spot for preparing a waterfront lunch.
For those seeking water-based entertainment, Peanut Island is just a boat, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard rental away. The 80-acre park has a lot to offer, including 20 campsites, a walking trail, and the historic bomb shelter once used by President John F. Kennedy. With boaters playing music and relishing the perfect weather, the shoreline is an excellent place to go snorkeling and catch a glimpse of the colorful reef fish.
Located a mere 15-minute drive from the property, Rapids Water Park is a fun-filled destination for individuals of all ages. The park offers a wave pool, 35 water slides, and a quarter-mile lazy river ideal for a relaxing float.
In addition, the nearby West Palm Beach is a haven of coastal sophistication and boasts an impressive selection of excellent shopping and dining destinations. Clematis Street, the city's central hub, is filled with boutiques, historic landmarks, nightlife, and live music.
Space
FIRST MASTER BEDROOM: Features a spacious room with a Queen Bed, updated furnishings, an updated ensuite bathroom with a shower.
SECOND MASTER BEDROOM: Features another spacious bedroom with a Queen Bed, small sitting area with an updated ensuite and sliding doors that lead directly to the private, secluded pool.
THIRD ROOM: Features a spacious room with a King Bed and the third updated bathroom directly across the hallway.
LIVING/DINING ROOM: A comfortable couch, two chairs, some puffs for extra seating, to watch a movie after a long day at the beach. A glass dining table with Double French doors that lead out to the covered patio with lots of space for entertaining and dining!
PATIO: The covered patio has ceiling fans, a dining table for 6 and some comfortable furniture to sit and have a coffee on in the mornings while hearing the birds chirp beside your private heated pool.
The garage is where you will find access to some beach amenities, but don't forget we have a Palm Beach Shores Beach Pass providing complimentary chairs and umbrella at the beach. No need to carry your own, just walk down to the beach with nothing but your towels!
